What Can Librarians Teach Enterprises About Information Access?

Librarians have been helping us find information since long before enterprises began investing in formal KM initiatives. But libraries are curated collections, far different than enterprises. Security, privacy, and compliance matter. And unstructured corporate content can be far messier to categorize than books. Where corporate budgets fall short on librarian power, software solutions promise — and often over-promise — automation.

Yet in many ways, the rules of the library are universal, with the potential to help the enterprise in more ways than it does now. What pragmatic advice can we glean from librarians about how to better find information under the pressure, chaos, and constraints of the enterprise?

Join our panel webcast to hear wisdom from a librarian, a technologist, and a large enterprise.
