The roots of Endeca are in innovative technology. In 1999 Endeca started with a small team of search-industry veterans and a vision for a better way for people to find critical information, now known as the Guided Summarization experience. Conventional wisdom at the time said that the technology to power it wasn't possible to build, but they thought they saw a novel way. A talented team of engineers spent two years in basic research, finally hitting the major breakthrough at the heart of the Endeca Information Access Platform today. This opened a new frontier on which we continue to make exciting advances each day.

Endeca passed the 500-person milestone this year and has spread across the United States and the world. But through all that growth, our team sustains the same level of talent and passion at 500 as we had at 50. Our formula for success? Endeca headquarters in Cambridge, Mass.,are on the Charles River, near MIT and Harvard. Step right out back to jog along the river, with a perfect view of the Boston skyline. Enjoy our cafe with its legendary snack cabinet, game tables, and fish tank.
