Aimed at US government organizations using Convera RetrievalWare search products, the program is designed to address uncertainties caused by the planned acquisition of Convera's RetrievalWare™ assets by the Norwegian enterprise search company, Fast Search & Transfer™ (OSEAX: FAST.OL). For a limited time, organizations that upgrade from Convera RetrievalWare to the Endeca Information Access Platform will receive a 50 percent discount off the software license list price.
On April 2, 2007, Convera Corporation announced an agreement to sell its RetrievalWare enterprise search business to Fast Search & Transfer.
