CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – April 29, 2008 – Endeca Technologies, Inc., an enterprise information access software company, today announced that it has been named as one of the fastest growing private companies in Massachusetts.  The distinction was part of the Boston Business Journal’s annual BBJ Pacesetters ranking of private businesses across all sectors and was based on revenue growth from 2004 to 2007.  Endeca earned a top spot, reporting revenue growth of 1080% during that period, from just under $10 million in 2004 to more than $108 million in 2007.

“We’ve strived to foster a culture that thrives on change at Endeca and have always sought team members who excel under those conditions.  It is this energy and enthusiasm that has fueled our rapid evolution from specialized challenger into a company redefining the markets that we serve,” said Steve Papa, chief executive officer of Endeca.  “This achievement is a recognition of our team, and we are extremely proud to be recognized for our commitment to continued innovation.”
